Abbas Rabiee, who holds a PhD in Electrical Power Engineering from Sharif University of Technology in Tehran, Iran, is an IEEE Senior Member and serves on the editorial board of IET Generation, Transmission and Distribution. Formerly a Senior Research Fellow at University College Dublin in Ireland, Professor Rabiee has extensive expertise in the fields of renewable energy, smart grids, optimization models, artificial intelligence and uncertainty modelling in power systems. His recent research focuses mainly on net-zero energy systems and the challenges associated with this field.
